Coach Matt Adamcheck

Owner & Head Coach

Matt Adamcheck is the Owner and Head Coach of 4 Star Strength. Matt has been raised as a coach around world class Olympic Weightlifting coaches and athletes from around the world. He has been competing and coaching Olympic weightlifting for over 14 years earning recognition with multiple organizations as a very capable coach and organizer. Matt has always tried to make Olympic Weightlifting inviting to all, educating coaches and athletes alike. Matt has produced a multitude of beginner to international level athletes along with many coaches  around the country that have gone to also grow amazing athletes outside of 4 Star and Michigan itself. 

Coach Zach Caswell

Head Coach

Zach Caswell is a certified USAW coach and 105 kg lifter that has been working with Coach Adamcheck for over 3 years. He has an athletic background with having played college football and rugby for St. Joseph’s College. After embracing the Crossfit culture, Zach turned his sights to Olympic Weightlifting and hasn’t looked back. He runs a successful barbell club in Florida (Optimus Barbell Club) and has numerous lifters who have qualified for Nationals, Junior Nationals, The American Open and University Championships. Zach cares about the development of Olympic Weightlifting and helping people succeed in their strength/conditioning goals.

Coach Tracy Chase

Coach

Coach Tracy is a USAW L2 weightlifting coach with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. She is an NASM CPT, and a former assistant Strength coach for Wayne Sate University Athletics. Previously a competitive Muay Thai fighter and crossfitter, she has coached athletes in combat and strength related sports for 11 years. 

Coach Tracy is a 64kg lifter who fell in love with weightlifting after a series of sports related injuries got her more seriously into strength training. Having worked in the physical therapy field, she has done a lot of corrective exercise-focused training with athletes, and likes helping athletes get through injuries, and build strength. She also loves helping athletes embrace the sport at every level, from basic to competitive. Her favorite training focus is competitive performance, so she loves building athletes for competition, and preparing them to excel at meets.
